Lynn M. Gregory, owner and founder of Chelsea Gardens of Denver, Colorado takes an inventive and artistic approach to landscape design.

Whether the project is new, or renovation based, the goal is to combine the elements of architecture and personality of a home and family.  Creating an environment that is both pleasing to the eye and embracing to the neighborhood is accomplished through all aspects of landscaping: large and small plantings, pathways, patios and walls, watering needs, and lighting.  A recognized trademark of Chelsea Gardens is to leave signature trees and/or to incorporate features that will reflect the home and its story.

Contemporary, country garden, casual or entertaining settings are all a part of Lynn Gregory’s portfolio.

The professional crew of Chelsea Gardens bring their own talents and knowledge to your project thru their years of experience.

“The first day of Spring is one thing, and the first Spring day is another. The difference between them is sometimes as great as a month.”

Hardscape

As a full-service landscape company, Chelsea Gardens designs and installs the hardscapes such as walkways, patios, built in grills or fireplaces, and retaining walls.  Great care is taken to incorporate the materials and colors that define and compliment your home.

The skills we bring to a project can include building an informal dry stack retaining wall or a traditional brick entry porch.  There are many varieties of natural stone that can be selected for a project such as a red flagstone or something more unusual like blue Anasazi stone from New Mexico.  Lynn Gregory will guide you through the selection process and her experienced staff takes great pride in making a sound and beautiful hardscape project.

The addition of a hardscape element will enhance, add years of pleasure, and value to your home.

Trees & Shrubs

Trees are the visual foundation for your garden. Knowing how the foliage and silhouette will play in the garden’s performance is part of creating a unique and inviting setting. Great care and thought are taken by Lynn Gregory in selecting the appropriate size and color of a tree or shrub to compliment the home.  Trees give weight and balance to the landscape design.

The Denver climate once meant that plant selection was limited, but today there are many new varieties that have been adapted to our environment. Also adding to the medley are many new specimens of dwarf trees and columnar forms that can be used when space is at a premium.

Lighting

The installation of low voltage lighting in your landscape can add security and make your outdoor space come alive. Whether highlighting your walkway for safety or accent lighting a specimen tree, these details will enhance your landscape. The professionals at Chelsea Gardens can recommend and install the perfect lighting elements for your outdoor living.

Art & Design

A garden can reflect an owner’s own personality using special pieces of art or mementoes.

The addition of a functional piece of art in your garden can not only benefit nature but add beauty and texture in an unexpected way. By the placement of a unique object, it personalizes and enhances one’s own space. It also might bring a totally different texture to an area and a new essence to it.
